Position: Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Park Gate, Southampton

Salary: From £32,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am–5pm, 37.5 hours per week

We have a new opportunity to join our Park Gate Head Office as an Assistant Management Accountant due to an expansion of the team!

What we are looking for:

• At least 3 years accounting experience in practice
• AAT qualified preferred but not essential
• Experience in using Gemini preferred but not essential
• Be motivated and be able to work under pressure
• Be able to organise and prioritise work load
• Competent in using Microsoft Office

What you will be doing:

• Reconcile finance statements to the Gemini system investigating and highlighting anomalies.
• Code and post all daily bank transactions, making sure each day the bank reconciles to the bank statement.
• Code, post and reconcile daily credit card takings ensuring queries are investigated and anomalies are highlighted to the Manager.
• Post and reconcile all daily cash takings, investigating queries and reporting issues to the Manager.
• Ensure funding reconciliations are carried out on a monthly basis.
• Posting journals where applicable.
