Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic data-centric Purchasing Assistant to join the Carsa purchasing team. Data is at the very core of our day-to-day business helping to influence our decision making and drive efficiencies.
As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the purchasing team by ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day tasks. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn and develop their career in a progressive and innovative environment.
You will assist the buyers in various responsibilities, including managing administrative tasks, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and optimising our purchasing processes. The role offers significant potential for growth and progression within the company for the right candidate.
Full Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support: Load auction catalogues, bring vehicles into stock, and prepare necessary documentation.
Vehicle Processing: Manage invoicing, collate vehicle documents, and ensure vehicles are funded appropriately.
Communication: Answer questions from other departments and build solid relationships with strategic partners.
Data & Analysis: Conduct basic analysis to inform purchasing decisions and streamline workflows.
Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to improve and streamline purchasing processes.
What you need:
IT Competence: Comfortable using various software and systems, with excellent general IT skills.
Excel/Google Sheets: Proficiency in spreadsheets is highly desirable for managing data and analysis tasks.
Excellent English: Effective verbal and written communication skills to liaise with team members and partners effectively.
